About SadhnaFamiliar words. Easier to find, read and share.
Sadhna began with something simple: wanting the words in front of us when it was time to sing.
My wife organizes a monthly bhajan gathering. Someone suggests the next bhajan, and we start searching for lyrics. Too often, that means pages crowded with advertisements, text that needs zooming, and more time spent finding the words than singing together. Whenever I joined, I felt the same frustration.
So I built Sadhna, a simple, uncluttered place to find aartis, bhajans and chalisas, read comfortably on a phone, and share with the people singing alongside you. The collection started with the bhajans our group had sung and shared over its gatherings.

Inspired by my mom's handwritten pages
When my mom visited us in the US, she wrote out aartis by hand and left those pages with us. I still use them during aarti today.
Those familiar sheets, with the handwriting, the notebook lines and the well-worn folds, inspired how Sadhna looks and feels. I wanted reading here to carry a little of that same comfort.
Made for everyday prayer and singing together
Whether you're reading an aarti at home, gathering for bhajans, or looking up words you don't quite remember, I hope Sadhna makes it easier to join in.
It started with something useful for our family. I hope it becomes useful for yours too.
